Root Beer Glazed Meatballs
For the meatballs:
Ingredients
1 tsp Worcestershire
2 tsp dried Italian herb mix
1# ground beef
½ c bread crumbs
1 egg
Directions
Mix all ingredients together.
Portion out to desired size and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 till internal temperature is 155.
For the sauce:
Ingredients
¼ cup grape jelly
1 tsp red pepper flake (optional)
2 cans root beer
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup mustard
Directions
Pour soda into a sauce pot.
On medium heat bring to a boil and reduce by half.
Add in the other ingredients and whisk to combine.
Allow to simmer for 5 more minutes.
Place the meatballs in the sauce and allow to cook for a few more minutes.
