Root Beer Glazed Meatballs

For the meatballs:

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire

  • 2 tsp dried Italian herb mix

  • 1# ground  beef 

  • ½ c bread crumbs

  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.

  2. Portion out to desired size and place on a greased cookie sheet.

  3. Bake at 350 till internal temperature is 155.

For the sauce:

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup grape jelly

  • 1 tsp red pepper flake (optional)

  • 2 cans root beer

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup mustard

Directions

  1. Pour soda into a sauce pot.

  2. On medium heat bring to a boil and reduce by half.

  3. Add in the other ingredients and whisk to combine.

  4. Allow to simmer for 5 more minutes.

  5. Place the meatballs in the sauce and allow to cook for a few more minutes.
