Basil Pesto, Nut-free

Ingredients

  • 5 clove garlic, peeled

  • 2 lemons, zested and juiced

  • 1 cup fresh basil

  • ½ cup scallion

  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese ( can be left out if dairy free option is desired)

  • 1 1/5 cup oil (olive oil is preferred but any cooking oil will do)

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, add in all ingredients and blend until smooth.
